Customer Information – Coronavirus (COVID-19) updated 13th May 2020
In response to Monday’s Government announcement we continue to follow Government guidelines carefully. As the majority of our employees can work remotely, we will continue to do so at this time. In the interest of the safety of customers’ and employees, our office at 51 Scotland Road will remain closed to customers until further notice.
We will continue to operate an ‘essential-only’ repairs service (which means we will only currently attend to emergency repairs and safety / compliance related work) until we can ensure we have all the necessary measures in place to allow a safe working environment for all involved.
Any of our customers waiting to move home will be contacted directly once we have considered the recently updated Government guidance on moving home and have sufficient measures in place to keep people as safe as possible. Once we are satisfied that we have minimised the risk of COVID-19 infection for employees and customers during the process of moving home, we will be in contact to discuss options with you.
Hundred Houses Society remains open and you can still contact us using our main telephone number 01223 315036 or by emailing info@hhs.org.uk during the hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 5pm on Friday.
You can also still access our online tenant portal at www.hhs.org.uk
Understandably we are receiving lots of questions about the impact of Covid-19, the recent Government announcements, and the impact on our services. We have updated our Frequently Asked Questions page (latest update 19th May) with some answers which we hope you will find useful. We will continue to regularly update this as the situation changes and so please do refresh yourself regularly, so you have the latest information in this evolving situation.
Customers who are unable to access the internet or don’t have a friend or family member who can access the updates for them can contact us by telephone on the above contact number.
Our top priority is to keep our customers and employees safe. Please be assured that we have measures in place which means we can deliver essential services during this time and we continue to review the services we are able to offer as we work through the latest Government guidelines and requirements. Our response to the COVID-19 pandemic and how we will act on Government advice is considered on a daily basis and therefore as our approach changes, we will communicate this via our website. I am sure you appreciate these are unprecedented times and we are doing all we can to answer your queries whilst keeping you informed.
Thank you for your continued understanding during this challenging time.
