Your Home, Your Voice

During 2024, we launched our customer engagement, feedback and influence model, which explains our approach to hearing feedback from our customers. We launched this to make it easier for our customers to communicate their feedback with us and for us to ensure feedback is heard.
We call this ‘Your Home, Your Voice’ (YHYV).
The aim of YHYV is to listen to you, our customers, and to give you the space and opportunity to make your voices heard.

YHYV Spring & Summer Schedule 2025
At all YHYV events, we will aim to ask:
· What does HHS do well?
· What could HHS do better?
· Is there anything you want to feedback or discuss today?
There will be a variety of formats, including:
YHYV drop-in sessions
Where we have a high density of homes in one area, we will hold drop in events in these communities. This will allow you to know the time and place that you can come and see your Housing Officer.
These drop-in events will be held at:
Bridgacre
Harvey Road
Coach House Court
Freeman House
Vinter Terrace
Parkside
Fallowfield
Chesterton
These events will be attended by the Housing Officer but led by the tenants, as an open forum to discuss matters that are important to you. This feedback will be collated and responses to these enquiries will be documented on the ‘YHYV You Said, We did form’ and communicated to residents.
YHYV - ‘On the Road’
In order to reach as many customers as possible, ‘Your Home, Your Voice: on the road’ will consist of us visiting schemes/ communities, particularly focusing our ‘on the road’ spin off to smaller schemes and those without an office/common room on site.
YHYV - ‘Online’
We can hold online sessions on Teams and/or Zoom that can allow a further opportunity for engagement for those customers who either have limited access to transport or who work during the day and would prefer an evening session.
YHYV - ‘Estate Walkabout’
Customers will be advised of which week the Housing Officer will be at the scheme and can call HHS to book a slot to meet them there.
YHYV - ‘Community Coffee Morning’ .
This is ongoing and is arranged by our customers, with a Housing Officer available at each meeting.
